Coronavirus and Your Upcoming Session

With the current Coronavirus pandemic spreading around the world and lots of news stories on social media, school closures and more, I understand the current concerns and I feel it is time to discuss how the virus will affect your upcoming photo sessions.

Since I photograph people in their homes, outdoors, plus a small studio space, as of right now, I am still booking sessions for APRIL and beyond. I am also not cancelling current sessions, however if you or someone in your family has symptoms of the flu, stomach virus, or other cold like symptoms, please let me know prior to your session. For the safety of my other clients (mostly the teeny ones!), myself and my family, rescheduling your session is the best option to help make sure others don’t get sick as well as having your family in a happy mood for their photo session. As an example, in December when my family was sick (I was not showing flu symptoms) I chose to take precautions and reschedule a few sessions out of safety.

For reassurance purposes, my studio space is not a high-volume studio and my workflow and cleaning precautions do NOT vary from season to season. I use the same cleaning procedures in July that I do in January. All outfits, wraps, material backdrops are washed and dried after each use. I use Lysol products on railings, light switches, doorknobs and other hard surfaces. Toys and other small items are cleaned with wipes or nursery cleaning spray. I have hand soap and sanitizer available. If I touch my face, nose, phone, I wash my hands. I don’t choose to protect my clients (and myself) only during flu and cold season, but all year round. Your safety and well-being are just as important to me as your experience and the images I deliver.

If you have any questions or concerns about your upcoming session(s) please feel free to email me.

Again, as of right now, I am NOT CANCELLING sessions but will reschedule regular sessions due to client or family illness.
